I'm not an Idaho native, but I've been to every corner of the state multiple times. I'm rarely impressed with the food as salt is too spicy for most people here. This place keeps me coming back, the food quality, taste and consistency is perfect nearly every time. Kudos, to the staff and Chef.

Moon's Kitchen Cafe Official Denver Omelet Review Appearance: 9.0 Full plate filled to the brim with hashbrowns, fresh toast, and the one and only Denver Omelet. Omelet had a light blanket of cheese, ingredients mixed within the egg, and a buttery cooked edge around the body of the Omelet. Ingredients: 8.5 Egg quality was very good and fluffy. Ham had a smoky aftertaste which was pleasant, however the size of the cubed ham was a little larger than I'd prefer. Peppers and onions were good but surprisingly did not stand out flavor wise. Cheese was nicely layered and did not overwhelm the experience. Taste: 8.75 This omelet speaks for itself. The taste was very delicious and had high quality ingredients, especially the eggs. The butter base was very yummy and worked well with the onion and eggs. Overall a very well-rounded flavor. Experience: 9.5 Moon's Kitchen Cafe was a very enjoyable Denver Omelet experience. Service was wonderful, atmosphere is vibey, and the location is in the heart of Boise. The fresh jam was a standout part of my experience, it was absolutely amazing. Toast was high quality, fresh pulp orange juice was great, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. I'd say the only .5 point mark down is that it is on the pricier side, however it is well worth it!!! Total Denver Omelet Review Score: 35.75 / 40

Great place, wonderful service, amazing food! I'm gluten free and I got three whole slices of French toast - simply amazing. So tasty. Didn't get sick. Lovely staff. Loved the location. Loved listening to the other staff interact with customers.

A must visit breakfast gem! Moons is hands-down my new favorite breakfast spot in the city. Locally owned and full of charm, this place gets everything right—from the warm atmosphere to the incredible food and unbeatable service. Our server, Jeffrey, was exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu—he made our experience even more memorable. The food? Out of this world. Their gluten-free options are some of the best I’ve ever had—especially the pancakes and toast, which were fluffy and flavorful without compromise. The house-made hollandaise sauce is a standout: rich, silky, and perfectly balanced. And the breakfast potatoes? Crispy perfection. To top it all off, the city views from the dining area make every bite feel like a little celebration. Whether you're gluten-free or just love a great breakfast, Moons is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

It was a busy still early Saturday brunch. I sat at the bar and kudos to Adriana for being the nicest and most efficient waitress I have known. The boise eggs benedict were generous and delicious and I tried a half portion of their celebrated beignets. They were light, fluffy and as good as those at Cafe du Monde!

Decent food in a clean environment. It was fairly noisy when we were there. The French toast was good. The breakfast menu is large - lots of Benedicts and pancakes. Prices are on the higher side for a fairly standard breakfast.
